Welcome
to the Stockport Garrick Theatre's
2007-2008 Season
Twenty
years ago, I arrived in Stockport from Scotland, not knowing anyone. I
joined the Garrick thinking it would be a good way to meet people as
well as enabling me to pursue a long-standing interest in theatre.
Since
then I've been involved in building sets, lighting and running the bar
as well as acting. That's the great thing about the Garrick -
there's always plenty of interesting jobs to do behind the scenes if
you don't want to act. I have also made many friends through the
Garrick, and even met my partner here!
So. there's a great range of
plays to look forward to this season, but there's a lot more to Garrick
life than you see on the stage.
